DeatschWerks continues their support for plug-n-play applications by expanding their product line to in-tank fuel pumps. DeatschWerks is well-known in performance auto industry for their fuel injectors. DeatschWerks came out with a total of 14 fitment kits covering 23 popular applications for their DW300-series in-tank fuel pump and more are being added. Just like their fuel injectors, fuel pump and fitment kits have been designed to be compatible with both gasoline and ethanol based fuels.
Some reputable tuner companies have already released their reviews of DeatschWerks fuel pump. Cobb Tuning tested it on their 2004 Subaru STI. Cobb Tuning compared DeatschWerks DW300 fuel pump to Walbro 255lph HP fuel pump. Their test showed that DeatschWerks was able to deliver more fuel necessary to run the car properly at higher RPMs. Modern Automotive Performance (MAP) was able to make well over 600whp on E85 Ethanol on just one DW300, where a standard Walbro 255hp limited the car to just over 500hp.
